Effective 28 August 2026. Animatic Event Strip is local-first. Project names, timeline events, images, audio, and project history are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB on this device. We cannot see or recover them.

What leaves your device

Nothing during normal planning, import, or export. There are no analytics, advertising trackers, accounts, cookies, third-party fonts, or runtime scripts.

If you purchase or restore the optional Studio Pack, your browser sends the license token to the Sociobot billing API solely to verify access. Payment is completed on Sociobot’s hosted checkout, where Sociobot/Dodo acts as merchant of record. This app does not receive card details.

Your controls

Use Project JSON to create a portable backup containing your timeline and embedded media. Clear this site’s browser data to remove the locally stored project and cached license from this device. Uninstalling the PWA may not clear browser storage on every platform.

Network and offline cache

The service worker stores the app shell and original environmental artwork so the planner works offline. It does not cache license verification responses; only the validity result and check time are kept locally for up to one day.
